Lei Poʻo Workshop 

In this hands-on workshop, you will learn the traditional art of lei making, using fresh, native vibrant flowers and greenery to craft a unique Lei Poʻo (flower crown) to wear or share. Keiki Pizza Making Class

Jr. Ambassadors

Being an Ambassador of the Environment means protecting the harmony between humans and nature. Join our naturalists as we learn how to protect the environment by cleaning up our beaches, removing invasive species, and forming relationships with the animals and plants of Kapalua Bay. All participants will receive an official certificate for keeping Kapalua Bay healthy and harmonious. 

Whale Wonders

It’s not every day and in every place that you get a chance to see one of the biggest animals on the planet. Join our naturalists for a chance to see our seasonal humpback whales and learn all about who they are, where they come from, and why they are here in Hawaii. Ages 5-14. $94.95 per child. 

Intro to Tropical Gardening

The lush abundance of tropical Maui has delighted our senses for centuries. Through this hands-on gardening program in our organic Chef’s Garden, participants will develop their green thumb and learn the importance of eating local, how to tend to tropical plants, how and when to harvest fruit and vegetables, make compost, and more! All fresh, organic harvest will be safely enjoyed during the experience. Ages 5-14. $94.95 per child. 

Whale Watching 

If you have been to Maui during the winter, you may know about one of our quite literally biggest draws, our seasonal humpback whales. Join our naturalist on a personal whale-watching experience from shore! Learn about these gentle giants and their return to our waters for another season. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. $109.95 per person. 

Turtle Tracks

Adventure outside with one of our naturalists to search for green sea turtles in the wild. Learn about Hawaiian sea turtles, their behaviors, and nesting patterns, and discover their role in our environment and Hawaiian culture. Ages 5-14. 

The Edge of the Sea

Through hands-on exploration and guidance from our experienced naturalists, explore our tidal pools and discover the unique lives of hermit crabs, urchins, snails, and other uniquely adapted tide pool creatures. Ages 5-14.
